Paula Marshall is a speaker, author, philanthropist, and CEO of Tulsa-based international food manufacturer, Bama Companies, Inc. since 1990. Paula is known for her philanthropic work in Tulsa and around the world. She has received numerous awards including being inducted into the Tulsa Hall of Fame, Advocate of the Year for DVIS, The Journal Record’s Woman of The Year, and being named one of the 25 Tulsans Who Shaped Our City by Tulsa People Magazine in 2011, and most recently, becoming a 2021 inductee into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame.

Paula’s mission centers around love and honor, and we drew inspiration from this ethos when creating her logo. She wanted a design that stayed true to the Bama Companies brand, so we incorporated its signature colors and font style as a subtle tribute. The logo, much like Paula herself, is simple yet powerful, featuring just her name with a handwritten heart above it to symbolize her profound impact on society. The heart icon is also versatile, standing alone as a symbol of her brand, and is featured throughout the work we’ve done to represent her inspiring legacy.

D2 Branding created Paula’s personal brand website, which showcases her inspiring story, philanthropic work, numerous awards, and her mission statement. The site also features links for visitors to donate to nonprofit organizations she supports, as well as a dedicated section highlighting her books, which are available for purchase. The website was a collaborative effort, with a web designer, copywriter, and graphic designer working together to bring Paula Marshall’s brand to life.
